General Medical and Dental

There are no service medical or dental facilities available in station. Personnel use civilian doctors and dentists after first obtaining authority from the Medical Liason Officer (Mr Henry Brannigan) and completing the dental form held by the admin clerk. In accordance with SOBA(G) 3303 dependants are required to pay the necessary NHS contribution towards dental treatment unless exempt under current rules. Non emergency or routine dental work must first be cleared by the DDA before being carried out by a dentist. Note: No routine dental treatment is allowed in the first and final 3 months of posting.

It is imperitive that you declare any long term medical treatment or medication being taken as this has to be declared to RESG, this will be treated in upmost confidence.
