Eating Matze Langer is the Head Chef at Haus Schwaben and a German National. He is the Guesthouse's culinary magician. Most courses give him rave reviews and wish they had him on board. All meals are self service and served in the comfortable dining room with superb views of the garden and mountains. Breakfast consists of bacon, sausage and eggs, a variety of cereals, toasts and bread with butter and spreads, fruit, juices, tea and coffee. At breakfast you help yourself to rolls, cheese, ham, chocolate snack bars, fruit and more to take with you for lunch. Evening meals are again self service and a new menu is arranged each week. Every evening meal consists of 3 courses and there is always plenty provided to fuel you for the following days activities. Every Friday is a home made burger night during the winter or BBQ in the summer season with burgers, fries, rolls, sauces and salad.
