Naval Outdoor Centre Germany

The Naval Outdoor Centre Germany is the Navy's Adventurous and Challenging activities Centre situated in the beautiful Allgäu area of Bavaria, Southern Germany. Its aim is to provide members of the Naval Service an opportunity to participate in Adventurous activities and in doing so expose individuals to risk occasionally operating outside of thier comfort zones. We achieve this by offering you the opportunity to participate in winter and summer based activities over 7 days.

The first surprise for many will be the fact that personal contributions will be ₤0, that’s right nothing!! However, priority places will go to RN/RM Sports Lottery members, so join today!

Last Minute Availability!

There are a few more weeks left before NOCG summer leave. Last minute availability is possible for Summer Activity Courses as cancellations do occur and spaces become available. Call Cpl S Fry in the NOCG office for more details - 0049 8324 973415.

Bouldering Wall Officially Opened

The NOCG bouldering wall was offificially opened by Holly Gellender. NOCG staff, family and friends were invited to a BBQ on 10 April at Haus Schwaben to try the wall and test their climbing skills. The BBQ was a great success, with thanks to Sgt Ash Sleight for organising.

NOCG would also like to thank the Sports Amenities and Benevolence Scheme for the financial support that enabled us to purchase this fantastic recreational and training facility.

Winter 2010/11 Season

NOCG will be taking bookings for the coming Winter season from September and the allocation of places will occur around November. All applicants will be informed by email of successful bids.

Families live the Bavarian life whilst posted here. Outdoor activities for the whole family are everywhere including walking, cycling, skiing, climbing, swimming and much more. Singles, couples and families all live in private rented accommodation within the local community and children attend German Kindergartens and Schools.
