David Beuzeval
I was found abandoned in a kayak wearing ski boots in august 1977. Since this historical day I have devoted my life to both skiing and kayaking. However, along the way I also tried my hand at climbing, mountain biking, open boating, conquering various mountains and generally living the dream. It's a hard life. |

Sam Burns
In 1978 I joined the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers then later in 1986 I transferred to the Royal Army Physical Training Corp (RAPTC) where my career as an Adventurous Trainer began. I served as a level 4 trainer of AT in Ripon, Ballachulish, Kingusie, Tywyn and ATC Bavaria upon where I left the Military and live to this day. I hold many AT qualifications from the Mountain Instructor Certificate (MIC) and the German Army top mountaineering award Heeresbergfuhrer (HBF) that is their mountain guide certificate, among many others I have achieved whilst serving for Her Majesty. My job is also my hobby seeing me outdoors when ever possible doing the things I enjoy in the mountains.

LWtr Suzanne Cavanagh
Suzanne joined the WRNS in 1990 and completed Writer Training later that year. Originally a non-seagoer she was almalgamated into the RN soon after joining but did not join her first Ship, HMS Montrose for another 10 years.
Since then she has also completed sea time in Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Diego Garcia and most recently HMS Enterprise.
In her younger days Suzanne could always be found taking part in various sports, her favourites being Hockey and Netball in which she represented Command and Navy respectively.
It's probably fair to say that Suzanne is a fan of the ‘LFS' draft having been lucky enough to have completed LFS drafts in Gibraltar and Naples, and now can't believe her extreme good fortune at being drafted to NOCG, Bavaria.
Whilst here she intends to take part in as much AT as possible, but is mostly looking forward to the Winter season and gaining as much skiing experience as possible.
Anyone who knows her will agree that Suzanne enjoys the odd ‘run ashore' whenever possible, but after 21 years of ‘running' can safely say that the hangover cure does not exist! |

ET Joe Chard
I'm Joseph Chard, I was brought up in Swansea. I have many interests from fishing to ice hockey. I'm 26 and I been in the navy for nearly 4 years now, in April 2012 I was told that I had been drafted off submarines and I was to join NOCG as stores maintainer. Even though I have spent the majority of service as an engineer on submarines I was really looking forward to the new challenge's that my new draft at NOCG would bring. Finally got out to Germany just as the winter season has came upon us and cannot wait to master the slops on skis.
