What's on Offer? The area is alpine in nature with picturesque mountains rising to over 2000m overlooking steep valley floors. From Jan to the end of Apr (snow conditions allowing) skiing will be the main activity and we will cater for all standards. For the novice skier we will teach you alpine skiing aiming towards the Basic Ski Proficieincy award and for the more able we will introduce you to ski touring and once again steer you toward the Ski Tour Proficiency award. For those already at this standard we will progress you aiming to achieve the Advanced Ski Proficiency award. From May it will become a multi activity package, where participants will try climbing, klettersteiging a form of multi pitch climbing and scrambling on wires and ladders or mountaineering, mountain biking, kayaking and them you will have the chioce of either canyoning or white water rafting. For those who have been before we will encourage you to attempt an AT proficiency course, follow the link to see what's available. There is also scope for groups to organize bespoke AT packages whereby they can determine what they want to do. This might take the form of 5 days of mountain biking with the aim of tackling Black graded mountain descents or 5 days mountaineering. All you need to do is come to us with your plan and we will then help you realize it (bespoke packages may involve personnel contributions). Each AT experience will start on Saturday with participants making their own way to Dover before embarking on the ferry to Calais then luxury German coach to arrive in Bavaria the following morning. The rest of Sunday will be briefings, issue of kit and local area familiarisation before the activities start on the Monday. The week's activities will finish on Friday afternoon and then you will have the opportunity to sample the delights of Sonthofen before departing on Saturday morning and returning to the UK.
